La seconda puntata della nostra rubrica Actress and trees è dedicata all'indimenticabile attrice inglese Audrey Hepburn che possiamo vedere in uno stupendo primo piano , in una foto, virata in color seppia, scattata dal fotografo delle dive di Hollywood Sam Shaw nel Bois de Boulogne a Parigi nel 1957 during the making of the film "Love In The Afternoon " (the title in Italy was " Arianna ") and directed by Billy Wilder, when the actress was 28. This time the recognition of the tree to which Audrey Hepburn is based on her slender body is easiest, from the bark of its trunk mottled plaques and in fact we can say that it's a Plane, Platano hybrid that is most likely Platanus x hyspanica or as a synonym Platanus x acerifolia . The photo , unpublished for over fifty years, was published in April of last year in England within a dell'ottantesimo photo exhibition held to mark anniversary of the birth of the actress.
